e-IPH is committed to publishing reliable, well-reviewed research. This page sets out the mechanisms we use to safeguard that commitment across our journals.

Peer Review

All research articles undergo double-blind peer review by external reviewers before acceptance. Editorial boards are expected to follow COPE guidelines for best practice in scholarly publishing.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions rest with each journal's own Editor-in-Chief and editorial board, not with e-IPH as publisher. Board members, editors, and conference organisers are excluded from reviewing or deciding on their own submissions, to prevent conflicts of interest. Each journal's current board is listed on its own Editorial Team page.

Competing Interests

Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to declare any conflicting or competing interests that could compromise a publication, including funding sources.

Corrections & Retractions

Published articles that require correction, retraction, or a publisher's note are handled openly and recorded against the original publication. See our CrossMark policy for how readers can check an article's update history.

Indexing

All content is assigned a DOI via Crossref, so citations can be tracked by the publishing and academic communities. Indexing coverage varies by journal and evolves over time; current status for each title is listed on its own journal page.

Archiving

Journal content is preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a LOCKSS-based dark archive, so published work remains accessible even in the event of a future disruption to this site.

Open Licenses

Articles are published under a Creative Commons licence (CC BY-NC-ND), so copyright remains with authors while readers may freely read, download, and share the work under the licence's terms.
