Appealing an editorial decision
Authors who believe a decision was made in error, or without proper consideration of their rebuttal, may submit a written appeal to the handling editor explaining the specific grounds for appeal.
Complaints about conduct
Complaints about the conduct of an editor, reviewer, or the publisher should be submitted in writing through the journal's contact page and will be investigated by an editor not involved in the original decision.
Response & escalation
e-IPH aims to acknowledge complaints and appeals promptly and provide a substantive response within a reasonable timeframe. Unresolved complaints may be escalated per COPE's guidance where appropriate.
